In qualità di sindaco di Bissone è per me un grande onore poterle dare il benvenuto nel portale ufficiale del nostro Comune. Le informazioni contenute all’interno del nostro sito sono sicuramente di aiuto al residente ma anche al visitatore o a potenziali investitori interessati a iniziare un’attività nel nostro Comune. Il nostro sito è infatti stato modificato per permettere all’utente di trovare, più facilmente, tutte le informazioni necessarie e di poter dare risposta alle domande più frequenti. Naturalmente, siamo a vostra disposizione per qualsiasi ulteriore informazione durante gli orari d’apertura degli sportelli. I vostri commenti o suggerimenti saranno sempre tenuti in considerazione. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di offrire un’amministrazione locale in un clima cooperativo e di apertura a tutti i residenti e visitatori. Chi per la prima volta scopre Bissone, non può che rimanere incantato da questo meraviglioso angolo di terra sulle rive del Lago Ceresio che possiede un Nucleo storico di importanza Nazionale, è che è stato il luogo di nascita di importanti artisti ed architetti che hanno lavorato nelle più prestigiose costruzioni in tutta Europa. Uno dei più importanti personaggi nati a Bissone è sicuramente Francesco Borromini. I primi documenti riguardanti Bissone risalgono al periodo Longobardo in particolare nel VIII e IX secolo, i territori di Bissone appartenevano infatti al convento milanese di Sant’Ambrogio. Nelle contese fra Como e Milano (1118-1127) Bissone fu un centro di resistenza ghibellina. Lo sviluppo del Nucleo storico è stato plasmato da necessità morfologiche e per ragioni pratiche ed economiche. Durante i XVI XVII e XVIII secoli, l’insediamento di residenze lussuose ed eleganti, la maggior parte delle quali di proprietà di artisti, contribuirono a rendere il Nucleo storico un vero e proprio gioiello. Nel 1847 fu costruito un ponte diga che collegava Bissone a Melide, successivamente il Nucleo fu tagliato parzialmente dall’arrivo della ferrovia nel 1847, e nel 1966 l’attuale autostrada fu inserita all’inizio della collina a fianco della ferrovia esistente. Il villaggio divenne così un punto strategico. Come risultato oggi più di 100'000 persone passano all’interno del nostro territorio giornalmente. Questa situazione ha portato all’aumento di servizi come alberghi e ristoranti, ma nello stesso tempo ha aumentato anche il rumore e l’inquinamento. A questi problemi l’autorità cercherà di rimediare al meglio nei prossimi anni. Nonostante tutto, Bissone rimane uno dei luoghi più incantevoli del Lago di Lugano ed è probabilmente quello che può vantare il passato più glorioso. Bissone offre un buon servizio comunale, dispone di un’ottima scuola d’infanzia come pure di una rinomata scuola primaria a disposizione dei residenti. Attualmente sono in cantiere le opere di risanamento fonico e il parcheggio principale del paese è inagibile. I lavori dovrebbero terminare nel 2012 così come la prevista ristrutturazione del Lido comunale. Il nostro obiettivo è di sempre migliorare i servizi offerti alla comunità di Bissone.

In meiner Funktion als Bürgermeister ist es für mich eine große Ehre, Sie auf der offiziellen kommunalen Internetseite von Bissone begrüßen zu dürfen. Der „Rote Faden“ durch Geschichte, Lage und Infrastruktur unseres Ortes soll nicht nur den Einwohnern helfen, sondern auch Besuchern die Möglichkeit geben, Bissone besser kennen zu lernen. Wir möchten Sie begleiten und Ihnen sogar gegebenenfalls bei der Entscheidung helfen , Bissone als Wohnort oder als Wirtschaftsstandort in Betracht zu ziehen. Erst kürzlich haben wir unseren Internetauftritt modernisiert, um ihn benutzerfreundlicher zu gestalten: Jeder soll die Möglichkeit haben, schnell an die ihm nötigen Informationen zu gelangen oder Antworten auf die meist gestellten Fragen zu bekommen (FAQ’s). Gleichzeitig laden wir Sie herzlich ein, uns zu den Schalterzeiten einen Besuch im Gemeindebüro abzustatten – Ihre Anmerkungen und Vorschläge finden bei uns immer ein offenes Ohr. Unser erklärtes Ziel ist eine offene, kooperative und gemeindenahe Verwaltung zu sein und ein angenehmes Ortsklima für Bewohner und Besucher zu schaffen. Jeder der dieses ehemalige Fischerdorf das erste Mal bereist, wird es feststellen - Hier gibt es sie, die Liebe auf den ersten Blick:
Bissone, ein kleiner malerischer Ort am Luganer See, mit einem historischen Ortskern, dem Nucleo, der von nationaler Wichtigkeit ist, und der diverse berühmte Künstler und Architekten hervorgebracht hat, wie z. B. Francesco Borromini. Die ersten historischen Daten über Bissone findet man zwischen dem 8. und 9. Jahrhundert, als die Langobarden, ein Volk mit norddeutschen Wurzeln, in dieser Gegend regierte.
Später gehörte Bissone zum Mailänder Konvent Sant’Ambragio. Während des zehnjährigen Krieges zwischen Como und Mailand, bildete Bissone das Zentrum des ghibellinischen und damit antiklerikalen Widerstands (1118-1127). Der historische Ortskern wurde entsprechend der geologischen Gegebenheiten und der finanziellen Möglichkeiten geprägt. In der Zeit zwischen dem 16.- 18. Jahrhundert, siedelten sich viele Künstler an, deren aristokratisch anmutende Villen und luxuriöse Anwesen den Ort bis heute zu einem echten Schmuckstück machen. 1847 wurde der Straßendamm zwischen Bissone und Melide aufgeschüttet und 1874 um den Schienendamm erweitert. Die im Jahr 1966 parallel zu den Schienen gebaute Autobahn, trennt den alten Ortskern von dem neueren Viertel Bissones. Das verschlafene kleine Örtchen Bissone hat sich zu einem strategischen Verkehrspunkt verändert. Bis zu 100'000 Personen passieren täglich unseren Ort. Diese Veränderung brachte den Ausbau des Dienstleistungssektors, so wie zum Beispiel Restaurants und Hotels mit sich, allerdings auch die Erhöhung des Lärmpegels und der Abgaswerte. Seit einigen Jahren, und wohl auch in den folgenden, ist die kommunale Politik mit der Behebung und Lösung dieser Probleme beschäftigt. So werden derzeit Lärmschutzwälle seitlich der Autobahn fixiert und am Ortseingang neue Parkplätze geschaffen. Dies sorgt augenblicklich für einige Unruhe, die jedoch, im Jahr 2012 beendet sein sollte. Trotz allem, Bissone ist und bleibt ein pittoreskes Kleinod am Luganer See und ist wohl der Ort mit der glorreichsten Vergangenheit in der ganzen Umgebung. Bissone verfügt über einen belebten Ortskern mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einem Kindergarten und einer renommierten Grundschule.

As the mayor of Bissone, it is thus a great honour for me to welcome all of you to the official web site of the Comune di Bissone.
Whether you are a Bissone resident, visitor, or business interested in locating, we hope that you will find here a valuable information tool for you. In fact, Bissone’s website was recently redesigned not just for a new look and feel, but to make it easier to find information and to provide answer for the most frequently asked questions. Our goal is to provide you with a local government that offers a climate of cooperation, teamwork, and openness to all residents and visitors. As our residents know and our guests discover, the Village of Bissone is an outstanding lakeside community that blends beautiful residential areas with an historic centre village called “Nucleo storico”. Bissone might easily mislead the unwary visitor as to its true importance over the centuries, for it is the birthplace of same of Europe’s leading artistic families, whose member made and decorated the important building of numerous city with their works, the most important of whom was Francesco Borromini. The first documented information on the village’s history goes back to the Longobardian period, in particular to the 8th and 9th centuries, when the Milanese monastery of Saint Ambrose possessed vineyards, olive groves and chestnut plantations. The development of the “Nucleo storico” has been shaped by morphological features of the terrain and for economic and practical factors. During the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, more elegant residences, belonging in the main to skilled artist, were built in the resultant network of narrow alleys and arcades along the shore. In 1848 with the construction of the mole between Bissone and Melide, the large area along the shore was transformed into an important communication axis. The “nucleo storico” was partly cut off by the railway line, opened in 1847 and in the 1966 was added the motorway which run through the hillside above the village. The town became than a strategic point linking northern and southern Europe, as a result over 100’000 people thus come through here every day. This has led to the development of hotels and restaurants, but at the same time it has also resulted in sound and air pollution which we are attempting to remedy. Bissone, nevertheless remain one of the most charming spot on Lake of Lugano and is probably the one that can boast the most glorious past. Bissone today offers excellent city services, our primary and secondary Schools are ranked “excellent”.
Additionally, the community “Lido” (now under renovation) offer swimming in a beautiful location. Our goal is to continually improve our “Gem on the lake” and, with your help, our community will continue to improve and flourish throughout the future.
